When you purchase CD's, it doesn't go to the artist. It goes to the multi-billion dollar Record Companies. Even if it was, does it really matter, Look at famous artist (by Famous I mean famous enough to be on Alltunes, Itunes and such.) They have plenty of money, more than enough.
